This is a beta of an upcoming version. It is feature incomplete and meant for development and demonstrative purposes only.

Using Plain Cite

Plain Cite helps you cite your sources for your papers by making sure you gather all the information needed and by formatting it for you so that you can quickly paste it into your Works Cited section. It is a work in progress, tailored most specifically for APA and MPA, though some support for more formats exists partially.

Choose one from among the types of sources listed on the left. You'll be asked to provide all the information needed for that source. Once you submit the form, Plain Cite will instantly show you how the various style guidelines prescribe that you cite your source.

About Plain Cite

Volunteers provide and maintain the Plain Cite project freely as a convenience for the faculty, staff, and students of Columbus State University. It is important to note that spelling, capitalization, and other facts must be entered carefully, for there is no way for Plain Cite to check for these mistakes, and as a general rule you should be sure to double check all results before placing your trust (or staking your grade) on them.
