APA Style

  • Students can use this presentation to discover why we use APA, how to find and use sources, how to format an APA paper, and how to cite sources with APA. Tips to avoid plagiarism are also included.

HOCs vs. LOCs - Revision vs. Editing- Interactive PowerPoint

  • Students can use this interactive presentation to further their understanding of how to move from HOC to LOC when revising. This presentation also examines the difference between higher order concerns (HOCs) and lower order concerns (LOCs). HOCs are content, thesis, evidence, organization and purpose; while LOCs are word choice, spelling, punctuation, documentation, and grammar.
